Realine Technology is an automation and communication platform for the logistics industry.
Product Overview
A mobile app designed for truckers, streamlining communication and operations in the logistics industry. It connects drivers, trucking companies, and logistics providers, enhancing efficiency with real-time tracking, route optimization, and issue resolution on the go.
My Role and Team
As the sole UX/UI designer on the team, I joined during the MVP testing phase. I collaborated closely with the CEO, product manager, and mobile development team throughout the project.
Challenge
65% of users drop off during the second step of the order application process. The complex, multi-step flow significantly reduces customer engagement, decreasing their likelihood of completing application process and impacting their potential profits.
Additionally, 48% of users found the interface cluttered and overwhelming, which directly hindered their decision-making speed and contributed to a loss of interest in our product.

Why do only 35% of users complete pick-up process?
Users often abandon the order application process due to the need to fill out multiple forms and navigate between screens, which is particularly inconvenient when traveling.
The order list lacks key information necessary for efficient decision-making.
Given the intense competition among carriers, the order application process should be streamlined to take half the current time.

How Might We?

Goal and Success Metrics
Our main goal is to halve application processing time while significantly enhancing user satisfaction in the order process.
Hypotesis
After conducting a thorough analysis of the market trends relevant at the time, we selected a popular dating service known for pioneering the swipe card feature in its interface. We found this concept to be highly effective for streamlining and accelerating the user experience.
Consequently, we initiated the development of a prototype to test this hypothesis with users.

After several rounds of user testing, we received results that confirmed our hypothesis. We were able to shorten the user journey by 50%, and the average decision-making time decreased to 2.7 seconds, which is 1.6 times faster than before.
